My path has been anything but linear.
I’ve spent over 15 years in communications, including 9 years in journalism (as a business journo, an editor for magazines and book publishers), 5 years in social media, and 2 years refining marketing strategies.
Before that, I was a cocktail bartender and barista (winning cocktail competitions and mastering latte art), ran a café and founded a book editing and copywriting business.
And what have I learned?
That finding joy, balance and happiness in your life and career/business is possible. You can be a parent and have a career. You don't need to sacrifice an element of what you want because others have said, "You can't do all that." You can, if you truly want to.
The magic is always in the mix: strategy, creativity, and a touch of cosmic serendipity.
